1. About these Terms

These Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of the Smart Self Cleaning Pools website (“the site”), including any enquiry, quote or finance request you submit through it. By using the site you agree to these Terms.

The site is operated by Smart Self Cleaning Pools (ABN 76 658 648 027), a family-run Compass Pools Australia authorised dealer based in Mackay, Queensland (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Nature of the information on this site

Information on this site — including pool shapes, sizes, features, colours, project examples, blog posts and pricing indications — is provided for general information and is subject to change. We aim to keep it accurate, but:

Product specifications are Compass Pools’ and may be updated by the manufacturer without notice;
Colour swatches on screen may not exactly represent the finished pool interior in real light;
Any cost, saving or timeline figures are indicative only and depend on site conditions, specification, and current supplier pricing.

Nothing on this site constitutes an offer, quote or contract. A binding quote is provided in writing after a site visit and inspection.

3. Enquiries, quotes and site visits

Submitting an enquiry form or requesting a site visit does not create a contract between us. It’s a request for us to contact you and, if we both agree, arrange a free site inspection. We reserve the right to decline any enquiry.

Any quote we provide is valid for the period stated on the quote (typically 30 days), subject to product availability and any variations between the site conditions we quoted on and those found during install.

4. Finance

The finance calculator and application on our finance page is operated by HandyPay Pty Ltd, an independent Australian consumer finance broker. We are not the lender and do not provide credit. We do not receive a commission from HandyPay for referring your enquiry. Any finance product you obtain through them is subject to their own terms, credit assessment, and applicable Australian consumer credit law.

5. Reviews and testimonials

Reviews shown on this site are drawn from Google and other third-party platforms and are attributed to the reviewer. We do not edit review content. Ratings shown are current at the time of display and may change as new reviews are received.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, graphics, photos, layouts, logos — is protected by copyright and remains the property of Smart Self Cleaning Pools, Compass Pools Australia, or the respective owner. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction, redistribution or commercial use requires our written permission.

“Compass Pools”, “Bi-Luminite”, “Ceramic Core”, “HydroPro”, “Maxi Rib”, “Vantage” and “ArmourShield” are trademarks of Compass Pools Australia and are used with permission.

7. Links to other sites

The site may link to third-party websites (e.g. Compass Pools Australia, HandyPay, Google Maps). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or reliability of those sites. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

8. Availability of the site

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on any information provided on it. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland in relation to any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or the site.
