Local pool company · Compass fibreglass pool installer · family-owned
Sarina is the largest township south of Mackay — a regional centre in its own right, thirty-seven kilometres south of the CBD, with a sugar mill, a working port complex at Hay Point, and a proper town main street. Sarina has a strong long-term-owner-occupier profile and a growing family demographic. Pools here are a straightforward lifestyle upgrade — the climate is essentially the same as Mackay, the blocks are typically bigger and cheaper, and the pool market is under-served by comparison.
Sarina's inland-adjacent position means slightly higher summer temperatures than coastal Mackay and slightly cooler winters — but the swim season still runs the full eight-to-nine months. Blocks are typically 700m² through to acreage on the outskirts, so the full Compass range is on the table. Vantage in-floor cleaning is worth every dollar in Sarina because of the ambient dust from the sugar mill and the cane harvest cycle. HydroPro™ addresses the reactive black-soil conditions common in the region.
Established brick and weatherboard family homes on generous suburban blocks through the township, plus a healthy stock of modern family builds through the newer estate areas. On the outskirts and into the cane country, rural-residential and acreage blocks open up the full Compass range with room to spare. backyards tend to be flat, functional and already-landscaped.
