Smart Self Cleaning Pools (ABN 76 658 648 027) is a family-run Compass Pools Australia authorised dealer based in Mackay, Queensland. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information about people who interact with our business.

We do not knowingly collect personal information about anyone under the age of 16.

Compass Pools Australia — the manufacturer — when required for pool manufacture, warranty registration or product enquiries you specifically ask about.
HandyPay or another finance provider — only if you initiate a finance application through us and only with the information required to process that application.
Sub-contractors we engage on your build (excavation, tiling, fencing) — only the site details they need to do their work.
Website analytics providers — Google Analytics (GA4) collects anonymised usage data described above.
Regulators or law enforcement — where we are legally required to disclose information.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertising networks. We do not use it for automated marketing.

How we store your information

Enquiry data submitted through this site is stored in our WordPress database on Australian-hosted servers. Business records are kept for as long as required under Australian tax and warranty law — typically 7 years for financial records and for the life of the pool warranty for install records.

We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections, restricted admin access, and standard server-level protections. No system is perfectly secure, but we do our best.

This site uses cookies to keep the site working and to measure aggregate traffic. Specifically:
