Large pools have a different job than small or medium ones. They're not just for a swim on a summer afternoon — they're the centrepiece of the outdoor entertaining zone, the reason the extended family drives out for Christmas Day, and the anchor of a landscape design that includes a pool cabana, an outdoor kitchen, and enough deck space for 20 people.
The Compass large pool range starts at 9 metres. Sanctuary 9.4 and 10.6 for family entertainers who still want the soft leisure-zone shape. X-Trainer 9.4, 10.2 and 11.8 for households where laps matter alongside social swimming. Vogue 9.4 and 10.2 for designer builds. Contemporary Custom for architectural pools up to 20 metres long. Fastlane 12.3 and Fastlane Custom for serious swimmers on acreage.
These are the builds that reward planning. A large pool on a rural or acreage block in the Pioneer Valley, the Isaac Region, or the coastal blocks north of Bucasia — with the right shell, colour and landscape context — is a lifetime asset, not a five-year project.
