A pool warranty is only as good as what it covers, how long it lasts, and how easily it transfers. Most fibreglass warranties are 25-year structural on paper, but exclude hydrostatic damage (the big one), cap cosmetic warranty at 3–5 years, and have onerous maintenance requirements that let the manufacturer avoid claims.

What does the lifetime structural warranty cover?
It covers structural defects in the pool shell, including protection against structural osmosis damage. It applies to every Bi-Luminite Compass pool and is backed by the Ceramic Core™ construction. Vivid series pools carry a 25-year structural warranty on the same principle. Both are transferable to a new owner for the balance of 25 years from original install date.
What does the 10-year cosmetic warranty cover?
It covers the interior surface of Bi-Luminite pools against cosmetic damage caused by manufacturing or material defects — including osmotic blistering. It's backed by ArmourShield™, an additional vinyl ester resin layer applied over the Bi-Luminite pigment for extra chemical and UV protection. Vivid series pools carry a 7-year cosmetic warranty on the same principle.
What is the hydrostatic warranty and why is it a world first?
Hydrostatic damage — where rising groundwater lifts and cracks the pool shell — is nearly always excluded from home insurance and from other pool manufacturers' warranties. Compass developed the HydroPro™ valve to release pressure five times faster than standard, and is so confident in the outcome that it warrants against hydrostatic damage for the life of the pool. As far as we know, no other fibreglass pool manufacturer in the world offers this coverage. Vivid also includes hydrostatic protection on its own warranty terms.
Is the warranty transferable when I sell my house?
Yes — all three components of the triple warranty transfer to a new owner for the balance of 25 years from the original installation date. Applies to both Bi-Luminite and Vivid series pools. That's a meaningful resale value point: the pool continues to add value to your property after you move on, and gives the incoming buyers confidence that it's still covered.
Do Vivid pools get the same warranty as Bi-Luminite?
No — the two ranges have different terms. Bi-Luminite carries the full lifetime structural, 10-year cosmetic, lifetime hydrostatic package. Vivid carries 25-year structural, 7-year cosmetic and included hydrostatic protection. Both are strong by any fibreglass industry benchmark; Bi-Luminite is genuinely class-leading. What's the main difference between Compass warranties and competitors?
Read the fine print on other pool warranties carefully before committing to any pool.
