Dolphin Heads is one of Mackay's most desirable coastal addresses — a small, tightly-held suburb on a headland between Eimeo and Blacks Beach, with genuine ocean views from most streets. Blocks are smaller in number than any of the surrounding suburbs, homes tend to be higher-end than the Mackay average, and pool builds here are typically engineering-led rather than shape-led. Salt exposure is at the top end for the region — every fitting gets specified for it.

Blocks are often narrow, split-level, or cliff-adjacent — the design brief usually starts with 'how do we build a pool here at all' before it gets to 'which Compass shape'.
