Collinsville is a former coal-mining township on the inland side of the Whitsunday region — a small, tightly-knit community with a working golf course, a genuine country pub, and blocks that are properly generous by coastal standards. It's the location of our featured Martin family install: a 9.4m Sanctuary in Evolution Bi-Luminite with the full Vantage in-floor cleaning package, overlooking the Collinsville golf course.
Collinsville summers run hotter than coastal Mackay — dry-inland heat rather than tropical humid, but harder on unshaded bodies. That makes a pool a legitimate daily-use asset from October through April. Blocks are typically 1,000m²+ — the full Compass range fits easily. Rural dust and mature-tree debris are constant, which is exactly what Vantage in-floor cleaning was designed for. The Martin build is a good demonstration of what a properly-specified Compass pool looks like on a rural block with a genuine outlook.
